Himalayan Cafe

The Himalayan Cafe is a unique Nepalese restaurant in the heart of Old Town. It provides the experience of the traditional flavors of the mountains. Enjoy an intimate meal as you sample the foods of the Himalayas, authentically seasoned with mountain-grown herbs and spices. Try mo-mo, the most popular snack of the Nepalese and Tibetans. These steamed dumplings are stuffed with vegetables or meat and served with a homemade-pickle dipping sauce. The buffet lunch at the Himalayan Cafe features Nepalese, Tibetan and Indian specialties. The restaurant offers both vegetarian and meat entrees, both of which are common to Himalayan cuisine. Conclude with a fabulous dessert, which features exotic flavors, such as cardamom, saffron and ginger.
